Great staff and location but two watch outs
The location is excellent, only 2-3 minutes walk from the Colosseum and you can easily get taxis, buses etc from walking in the same direction. The owner/manager, Andrea was fantastic, extremely helpful and super friendly.
I am not saying I disliked it, but two things I did not know that may help future visitors: 1) The room I got was a bit different from the pictures, the bed was only accessible through a narrow staircase from within the room. A bit worrying as I had my 3 year old daughter with me. As the occupancy was full, I could not get the room changed and had to stay for 2 nights. 2) This is not a hotel, it's a residence. The reception is 200 meters from the actual residence and the rooms are accessible through entering two passcodes in two different locations within the building that you have to remember (or keep saved on your phone to recall later). The rooms are on the first floor and there is no elevator so please be mindful of this when booking. There is also no room service etc.
